江西宜春市具有锂资源优势，正在打造从锂矿原料到锂电池、电动汽车的完整锂电新能源产业链。

2010年1月，国家科技部授予宜春经济开发区“国家锂电新能源高新技术化产业基地”。基地在锂电产业链的项目包括四类：一是新型材料项目，主要有电池级碳酸锂、钴酸锂、锰酸锂、磷酸铁锂、多元系正极材料生产项目，锂离子电池负极材料、隔膜、电解液生产项目；二是电池、电控、电机项目：主要有动力锂离子电池、储能型锂离子电池项目，手机、电脑等生活类锂离子电池生产项目，电动车用驱动电机生产项目，锂离子电池（组）电控生产系统；三是电动车项目，主要有锂电池助力自行车、摩托车、电动汽车、电动大中巴车生产项目，以及锂离子电池回收循环综合利用项目；四是产学研项目，主要有围绕锂能产业各种研发、培训平台项目，高精尖技术联合开发与应用项目，国家级锂电工程技术中心及检测中心项目。

宜春市目前已制定了《宜春锂电产业发展规划》，以锂电汽车为目标，打造亚洲最大的电池级碳酸锂生产基地，并在本地加工成工业用品和终端产品，建成中国最大的动力锂电池生产基地和35万辆以上大、中、小锂电汽车生产基地；力争到2015年，形成完整并具有竞争力的锂电新能源产业集群。

“2011 中国锂电池及关键材料国际论坛”将于2011年12月15日-16日在苏州召开。来自宜春市锂电新能源发展局的领导专家将介绍中国（宜春）国家锂电新能源高新技术产业化基地建设实践。

The Practice of National Li-Ion Battery and New Energy Base Construction

Yichun of Jiangxi Province is rich in lithium resources, where a lithium battery industrial chain is been shaping from lithium resources to li-ion battery and EV. 

In Jan.,2010, Yichun Economic Development Zone was honoured with “National Li Ion Battery and New Energy Hi-Tech Industrialization Base” by Ministry of Science and Technology. For the subjects joined in the li-ion battery industry chain including four categories: firstly, the subjects of new materials includes battery grade lithium carbonate, LCO,LMO,LFP, multi-component cathode materials and the subjects of li-ion battery anode materials, separator, electrolyte; secondly, the subjects of battery, electronic control, motor includes power li-ion battery, stored energy li-ion battery and the subjects of cell phone, computer and daily-use li-ion battery, motor-driven for EV and li-ion battery/pack electronic control system; thirdly, the subjects of EV includes li-ion battery driven electric bicycle, motor bicycle, EV, city bus and the subject of recovery and comprehensive utilization for li-ion battery; and fourthly, produce-learn-research projects includes R&D of lithium energy industry, training plate form, hi-tech development and application and the subject of  national li-ion battery engineering technology center and testing center.

At present, Yichun Municipal Government has formulated <Yichun Li-ion Battery Industry developing plan>, as the goal of Li-ion battery driven vehicles, Yichun plans to build Asia's largest production base of battery grade lithium carbonate and processes into industrial products and end products locally to establish the largest production base of power lithium battery for more than 350,000 vehicles of large, medium and small EV; By 2015, to form a complete and competitive lithium new energy industry cluster.

“2011 China Li-Ion Battery and Key Materials Forum” will be held in Dec. 15-16, 2011 in Suzhou, China. The officer from Yichun Government will deliver a presentation on The Practice of National Li-Ion Battery Base Construction in China
