Contract Manufacturing Manager(北京)
Responsibilities:
l - Lead negotiating contracts with contract manufacturer and get alignment among internal functions for approval. Subsequently manage the execution of the contracts with CM.
l - Manage relationship with CM, encourage a collaborative and constructive work relationship.
l - Develop effective working relationships with internal/external partners and cross-functional project teams.
l - Manage new product introduction from design center to CM.
l - Manage CM to ensure adequate production that meets company product quality specification, build plan, and on time delivery to customers
l - Approve CM cost, and drive for cost reduction as per business requirements.
l - Evaluate CM site capability and implement a strategy for optimization and process improvement
l - Ensure corporate policy and strategies are fully followed by team members at manufacturing site
l - Monitor and review the KPIs related to manufacturing, QA, SC, engineering with related functional team at contract manufacturer site periodically
l - Coordinate or find the resources and set the priority to achieve corporate goal
l - Main contact window between company and the CM for communication and decision making
Requirements:
l The ideal Contract Manufacturing Manager must meet the following qualifications:
l - Master degree or above of electrical or mechanic majors, with MBA degree is a plus
l - 8+ years of experience working in contract manufacturing environment, working experience at battery cell or pack, automotive or utility energy storage company is preferred.
l - Due to the relatively new industry, product and CM relationship, technical skill is critical for success. Proven track record of continuous improvement of process, cost and quality. 6 sigma background is a strong plus.
l - Proven track record of cost budget, reconciliation, controlling and reporting. Must be financially savvy.
l - Effective communication and leadership skills, that includes:
Managing ambiguity, conflicts and competing priorities
Managing ross functional teams including legal, finance, supply chain, R&D, quality, product and process engineering, and demand management
Managing CM and BPI relationships
Managing Internal staff and company policy compliance
Adequate command of English and Chinese languages
l -Solid project management experience to enable effective leadership of projects and teams.
l -Start-up company background and mentality, with extensive experience in high growth and dynamic working environments
l -Travelling or short term re-location may be required due to task assignment
