【Profile】

The planet is progressively marching towards a serious energy crisis as the global oil resources become less and oil prices get higher. The world's governments are actively exploring alternative energy programs while the development of new energy vehicles gets more and more attention.

According to the 12th Five-Year Plan for energy-saving and new-energy vehicle industry, drafted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the sales volumes of electric vehicle is aiming to reach 5 million units by 2020. The total annual output will reach 350 billion Yuan, including the sale of electric vehicles, power battery, electric motor, positive and negative materials, membrane materials, charge management system, components and assemblies. By 2020, the core industries of electric vehicles, mainly vehicles, batteries, motors and infrastructure, can bring about 3.66 trillion Yuan of output value, and 8.5 trillion Yuan for the entire automotive industry.

Under these circumstances, Clean Energy Vehicles China 2011 Expo & Conference will be held on 19-21 October 2011, Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, to strengthen technical exchanges and cooperation, to better promote the development of clean energy automotive industry and the advancement of technology. Themed by trading of products, technology and property rights, this event will demonstrate the most advanced product and the most cutting-edge technology in clean energy automotive manufacturing field.
